CURATED Accomodation IN THE heart of the WESTERN PLAINS
Welcome to The Repose.
A space for slow living and a refuge from the busyness of everyday.
Calm corners invite you purposefully into a state of quietude, the luxury of time standing still for a moment.
A place to disconnect from the world beyond and reconnect to the things that matter most.
Everything you need and nothing you don’t.
As you step across the original timber threshold, worn by a century of feet seeking rest and comfort, the worries of the world drop away. Feel embraced by the very heart of Repose.
TIME WELL SPENT.
‘the REPOSE is pure bliss.’
“The Repose is one of those rare gems that you expect you might find someday and when you do it’s everything you hoped it could be, and more.
This oasis is a diamond in the country, a place that will etch itself in fond memories shared with the special few that enjoyed their stay together.
The Repose is a truly splendid find.”

Circa 1904, this lovingly
restored miner’s cottage is designed for a restorative stay.
Quiet and hidden enough to be private yet close to the heart of town, a wander away from restaurants, galleries and shops.
Light and warmth beckon from the hallway to the utterly private courtyard. The day is yours - savour a coffee in the sun and a slow breakfast in the courtyard.
Linen topped beds, stacks of books, gatherings of original art and finely crafted items soothe your senses in each room. As evening beckons, enjoy a glass of regional wine by the open wood fire and gaze at the stars.
An inherent sense of slowness and a spirit of rest pervades this space.
The Repose was created around the strength of a decade long friendship.
Your hosts, two friends, share a common desire for authenticity, hospitality and design.
Here is our favourite place to focus on the value of relationships.
Conversation leads to connection.
And we discover the common stories weaving our lives together.
